East Report was born from a simple observation: Qatar and Vietnam offer massive opportunities that most investors and decision makers overlook. Through both my unsuccessful smart city venture in Vietnam and my engineering consultancy work in Qatar, I kept reaching the same conclusion - these markets remain largely untapped because few people understand their potential or feel comfortable engaging with them.
It is my hope with these periodical newsletter's as well as posts, that people become more comfortable with the idea of investing their hard earned money and valuable time in Qatar and Vietnam. You can expect periodic updates on investment opportunities running through us as well as general market information and legal updates that will keep you informed, prepared and ready to act when the time comes.
Who we are
We are a father and son duo that has over 50 years combined of experience in industrial and technology projects. Spanning over 5 of the 7 continents, we saw an opportunity to connect real people looking for investment, project preparation and execution with those searching for the other side of the deal.
We focus on investment projects for infrastructure as well as expansion and take over opportunities in active companies. The this is not a limitative list, and as our scope expands, we hope you join us on the journey
We have a team on the ground in Qatar and Vietnam which give's us access to the rest of the GCC and ASEAN. Herein we are constantly looking to add value to companies requiring fresh capital or owner's who wish to partner with strategic silent or operational allies. Further more, we have the capabilities for value transformation of assets in unique way's which results in high impact changes that trickle down to the bottom line.
We don't just connect you, we can help you actively manage your project until you take over the operations. We set up local teams through our connections with prominent local player's and companies. We help build out your project approach and can actively see to it that your goals are met.
Aren't Qatar and Vietnam Far Apart?
Yes, these countries do not share a land border but do share a maritime connection that dates back to the silk road. In the early 2010s, this strategic connection has become even more important as countries search for mutually beneficial trade deals, expand manufacturing across border and the eastern hemisphere starts to play a leading global role.
Credibility and Trust
We let results speak for themselves, if at any point you feel that the information being shared is not accurate, I trust that you will make this known to us. We are not infallible but our expertise has resulted in desired outcomes and we believe that in any "win-win" situation, all parties will have come out better on the other side. This is also the type of relationship we wish to build with all those that we connect with, and with you the reader. This doesn't mean that we can be of assistance always, sometimes we will have to say "No, thank you". But in these cases, we hope to remain in contact, as we look forward to long term connections and prosperous dealings.
